LE PRIX CAMERA CLARA
La première édition du Prix Camera Clara consacré à la photographie à la chambre, nous a comblé par le nombre et la qualité des œuvres reçues. De jeunes photographes ont concouru exprimant ainsi leur intérêt pour l’utilisation de cette technique dans leur projet artistique.
Nous vivons une époque où les images photographiques instantanées se multiplient de manière exponentielle, se diffusent et circulent en temps réel d’un bout à l’autre de la planète via internet et les réseaux sociaux.
En contrepoint de cette explosion, l’expression et le processus artistique de la photographie à la chambre se manifestent dans l’intimité particulière créée avec sujets et objets photographiés et la captation lente de la lumière.
L’édition 2013 s’ouvre à l’Europe, et avec ce nouvel horizon d’autres découvertes et rencontres heureuses nous attendent.

THE CAMERA CLARA PRIZE
The first edition of the Camera Clara Prize, consecrated to large format photography, gratified us by the number and quality of the work received. Young photographers competed, thereby expressing their interest for the use of this technique in the pursuit of their artistic career.
We live in a time where instant photographic images multiply in an exponential manner, being diffused and circulated in real time from one to the other end of the planet via internet and social networks.
As a counterpoint to this explosion, the expression and artistic process of large format photography manifests itself in the particular intimacy created with subjects and objects photographed and the long process of harnessing light.
The 2013 edition opens to Europe, and with this new horizon, other discoveries and fortuitous meetings await us. |
